Patients First
First and foremost is to consider the interest of the patients for whom advanced therapies are being developed. There is value to every life impacted by rare disease. Although each rare disease is small, together the combined burden of rare disease is tremendous.
Circular Economy
Simple and flexible to dilute upfront costs and eliminate redundant waste. Build once and reapply, over and over, to provide scalable support for 100s to 1000s of rare diseases.
Network Effects
Leverage the combined efforts of decentralized research into non-competing rare diseases to overcome prevalent challenges when developing genetic medicine. Broad collaboration enables sustainable value creation where vertically integrated silos are hampered by bottlenecks.
